Pamukkale (cotton castle) is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The site contains hot springs and terraces of carbonate minerals made by the flowing water. The ancient city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white terraces. The easiest way to get there is by organized day trips from Aegean or Mediterranean resorts. Also you can get to Denizli by plane, bus or train and from Denizli’s bus station there are minibuses that go to Pamukkale.
