Maui is an island which is part of the Hawaiian island chain in the Pacific. It is best known for its beach resorts and outdoor activities ranging from hiking and biking to surfing and snorkeling. Take a boat tour and enjoy snorkeling, sailing, whale watches, wild dolphin, dinner sails, private charter excursions etc. Explore the island with the 4X4 tours or use the Kapalua zip line and enjoy beautiful scenery. If you like adventure you can take surfing classes and ride the waves or get a raft and explore the sea caves and lava arches of remote and rugged Kanaio Coast. Go to the Haleakala National park and drive up to the summit from where you can enjoy the view of the crater and the stunning sunset. Ka'anapali Beach is on of the most beautiful beaches with soft sand, blue waters and endless views, especially the sunsets and sunrises. Wai’anapanapa state park is unique place that has beautiful beaches with blue ocean, black sand, lava tubes and caves. Napili is nice small white sand beach that can become crowded. You can swim with the sea turtles there. Wailea beach is a small beach with excellent sand, good for kayaks, snorkeling and paddle boards. Ulua beach is a nice, scenic small beach with natural shade. There are two reefs to explore with a lot of sea life. You can hike to the Read beach and relax on the red sand and blue water. Explore the island by hiking or horse riding the Pipiwai trail which has major waterfalls, beautiful pools and an bamboo forest.

You can get there by flying directly from the United States mainland to Kahului airport.


Average temperature ranges from 18 C to 31 C. Winter and spring (December - April) is high season for Maui when most travelers plan their trip to the island.
